The Field Jacket

For more than a decade, we’ve built our reputation on one simple idea: make things the right way, and make them to last. Every belt, wallet, and bag that leaves our Louisville shop is rooted in that philosophy, honest materials, thoughtful design, and craftsmanship you can feel the moment you pick it up.

We took that same approach and poured it into our first jacket. No shortcuts, no cheap materials. Just a hard-wearing, well-designed layer built with the same durability, longevity, and integrity that define all of our leather goods. This is how we make things, and now it’s woven into our new apparel line.

Heritage & Design

Inspired by mid-century sporting wear, this jacket carries the look of traditional English craftsmanship. The boxing-glove pockets nod to those worn on hunting parties, functional in form but sophisticated in style.

Materials & Craftsmanship

Woven in Yorkshire, England, a region steeped in centuries of textile mastery, each jacket begins with wool yarns gathered from New Zealand and Australia. We offer two variations:

Melton Wool (Khaki): A dense, weather-ready fabric with natural wind and water resistance. Thick, soft, and warm, it’s the most weatherproof of traditional wools.

Thornproof Tweed (Charcoal): Woven from tightly twisted double yarns for strength that resists brambles, brush, and years of wear.

Inside, each jacket is lined with soft Super 120’s merino wool for comfort that moves with you. Finished with a solid brass Talon zipper and handmade here in the USA, it’s a jacket built to age with character, not fall apart.
